What Claims analytics is What Claims analytics is
Claims > Analytics > Overview shows where the money in your claims book sits and how it moves. It reads the same claims and the same filters as Claims > List , so the two views always agree on which claims are in scope.
The overview opens on the whole book. Narrow it with the filter bar at the top, then select a bar, status or year to open the matching claims in the list with the filters already applied.
The headline The headline
The top card sums up the claims currently in scope:

| Gross incurred | The worst case estimate across the selected claims, split into paid and outstanding. |
| Claims | How many claims are in scope, and how many of them are open. |
| Net incurred | The insurer's share of the worst case, after deductibles. |
| Net paid | What the insurer has paid so far. |
| Own share | The deductibles you carry yourself. |
| Liability / Property | Gross incurred per claims line. |
The claim count and the per-line figures link to the claim list narrowed to those claims. The formulas behind the money figures are described in Claim financials .
Charts and tables Charts and tables

| Damage types | Gross incurred per damage type as a paid and outstanding bar. A damage type that exists on both claims lines is labelled with its line. |
| Statuses | The pipeline of claims across your board statuses. |
| Losses over time | Claims per month, quarter or year of loss. Use Month , Quarter and Year to change the period size. |
| Loss run by year | The same timeline as a table, one row per loss year, with claim count, gross incurred, paid and outstanding. |
Claims without a date of loss are counted in the headline but do not appear in the time chart or the loss run. The overview says so when there are any.
Filtering the overview Filtering the overview
The filter bar offers the claim list's filters: status, site, claims line, damage type, responsible, tags, the financial columns such as worst case estimate and gross paid, and any custom columns your organization added to the claims board. The date of loss filter also offers the presets This year , Last year , Last 3 years and Last 5 years .
With no date of loss filter set, the overview covers the whole book and the time chart chooses a period size that fits the data. Setting a period narrows the claims and the chart to it.
Drilling into the claim list Drilling into the claim list
Selecting a damage type, status or loss year opens Claims > List with the analytics filters preserved, plus the period or breakdown you selected. The list opens as an unsaved view, so you can adjust the filters, sort and columns — and save it as a saved table view if you want to keep it.
