Command Palette
Command palette
The command palette is the fastest way around 21RISK. From any page, open it, type a few letters, and press Enter: it finds every page and setting you can open, the help articles, and what you can do on the page you are on. In Enterprise organizations, it also understands plain language, such as “overdue findings assigned to me”.
Opening the command palette Opening the command palette
- Press ⌘ Cmd + K on a Mac, or Ctrl + K on Windows and Linux.
- Or click Search… at the top of the sidebar.
- On a phone, tap the search button in the page header.
The cursor is ready in the search field, so you can start typing straight away. Press Esc to close it.
Finding pages, settings and help Finding pages, settings and help
Type part of a name, or several words: “fire settings” finds the settings of your Fire board, and “tags” finds the tag settings. Results show where each page lives, such as Findings / Settings, so pages with the same name are easy to tell apart. Settings are found down to their section, such as Organization Name or Single Sign-On Domain, and open right at that section.
Matching help articles are listed under Documentation.
- Use the ↑ and ↓ arrow keys to move, and Enter to open.
- Press ⌘ Cmd + Enter (Ctrl + Enter) to open a page in a new tab.
Before you type Before you type
With nothing typed, the palette suggests where to go next:
- This page — what you can do on the page you are on, such as starting a new table view.
- Recent — the pages and commands you picked last.
- Go to — the pages of the board or section you are in.
Acting on what you are looking at Acting on what you are looking at
The palette also offers what the page itself offers. Select rows in a table, and their actions appear first: for example, close the selected actions. On a finding or another item, you can copy its link or open it on its own page. Pick a theme, switch to another organization, or sign out from anywhere.
Go there with AI Go there with AI
In Enterprise organizations, whatever you type can be sent to AI. Pick Go there with AI at the bottom of the list, and 21RISK works out which page you mean, and for a table, which filters to set.
For example:
| You type | 21RISK opens |
|---|---|
| overdue findings assigned to me | Your Findings board, filtered to open findings due before today that are assigned to you |
| closed actions at Aarhus | Actions, filtered to closed actions at the Aarhus site |
| people who never signed in | Users, filtered to people who have not signed in yet |
| where do I change our logo | The logo setting of your organization |
The filters show as the usual chips at the top of the table, so you can see what was applied, change it, or save it as a view.
If you are already looking at a table, words about what is shown refine it: “only Amsterdam” or “without the closed ones” keep your other filters. A request that says in full what you want starts afresh.
When what you ask for isn't there, the palette says so and names the closest pages instead.
Good to know: AI only looks up the sites and people you have access to, and only opens pages you could open yourself. A request costs a fraction of a cent and counts toward your organization's monthly AI spend.
You can do the same from a table's own Filter menu: see Filter tables with AI.
