Bulk import COPE

Bulk import COPE lets you update COPE data across many sites from a spreadsheet. The COPE importer supports total floor area in square meters.

Important rules:
- The importer supports area values in square meters.
- You can only import to active sites that are included on the Insurance board.
- Blank cells are ignored and do not clear existing values.
- Area values are imported to one period at a time.
- You need update access to COPE and values on the Insurance board.

Open Insurance > COPE , select the correct period, then use the command palette to search for Bulk import COPE . Download the template from the import page.
The template includes:

The import sheet uses these columns:

| siteId | Yes | The unique site ID. |
| siteName | No | The site name for reference. It is ignored during import. |
| area | No | Total floor area in square meters. |
Leave area blank for sites you do not want to update.

Upload the spreadsheet to create a what-if analysis. Review the changes carefully, then click Import now when the preview is correct.
The import runs as one transaction. It either succeeds completely or fails without partial updates.
