Risk management software for manufacturers with more plants than risk managers

Insured values, COPE, natcat exposure and audits for every plant, answered by the people on the floor. Your broker gets insurer-ready data from day one, and the next renewal starts from this year’s numbers instead of a blank spreadsheet.

Where a plant portfolio breaks the renewal

Three things the spreadsheet cannot do for a manufacturer

Property insurance for a manufacturer is a per-plant job: values per plant, construction and protection per building, hazard exposure per address. A workbook holds one snapshot of all of it, taken by whoever answered last.

Forty plants, three people

The risk function is small and the plant list is not. Every renewal means chasing plant managers who have production to run, and the weeks belong to whoever has not answered yet.

Values that age between renewals

A new line, a warehouse extension, a machine replaced. The spreadsheet still says last year, and the underwriter prices what you declared.

The fire questions

Hot work, PV panels on the roof, lithium-ion batteries in the warehouse. The insurer asks per plant, and the answer sits in a drawer at the plant.

One renewal round for the whole group

From plant list to insurer-ready data

There is no implementation phase. The plant list you already have is the project plan.

  1. 01

    Import your plants

Bulk import the site list you already have, with its hierarchy and your own columns, from an Excel template. Every value, COPE record and audit hangs off it from then on.

  2. 02

    Send one request

Pick the plants and the deadline. Each plant reports its property and business-interruption values in a browser form, with photos and documents attached where they belong.

  3. 03

Share with your broker from day one

Your broker reads current, insurer-ready values in the app instead of waiting for a file. Every table exports to Excel, and the REST API returns the same numbers.

"Given that we've taken the approach to really market our property risk in order to acquire insurance, we needed another means of collecting the information and presenting the information... There 21RISK has been a huge help"

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is 21RISK only for manufacturers?

No. It is for any company with a portfolio of sites to insure. Both published customer cases, Nilfisk and BHJ, are manufacturers, and the workflow is shaped by them: values per plant, COPE per site, audits on the same site list.

How many plants do we need for it to make sense?

The spreadsheet usually stops working somewhere around ten sites. 21RISK is free up to 10 users and priced per user after that. Sites, audits and actions are never metered, so a large plant list costs nothing extra.

Do plant managers need training?

They get a link, open a browser form and answer for their own plant. There is nothing to install and nothing to send back. What was reported last year is shown next to this year’s field.

Can our broker keep working in Excel?

Yes. Every table exports to Excel, and a broker you invite reads current values in the app or over the REST API. The difference is that the export is a copy of live data, not the master.

What about safety work at the plants?

Audits against fire, ISO and EHS standards run on the same plants, from a library of expert-maintained checklists or your own. Findings become actions with owners and deadlines. Safety-walks and hotwork permits are coming soon, and we label them that way.

Does it handle claims?

Claims handling is coming soon, on the same sites. Until it ships, the page for it says so rather than implying otherwise.

Bring your plant list

Send us the site list and last year’s values. We will import them and run the first collection round with you on the call.
