Sub-tasks, right where the work is ✨

The Findings table with two findings opened, each followed by its sub-tasks, with a ring next to each finding showing how many of its sub-tasks are done

Sub-tasks are how a big piece of work gets broken into steps: get a quote, approve the budget, do the work, collect the evidence. Until now you only saw them by opening the item. From today, they're right there in the table.

See the progress at a glance

An item with sub-tasks has a ring next to its name that fills up as its sub-tasks are closed. Hover it to see how many are closed, open and ignored, and click it to list the sub-tasks under the item, each with its own status, responsible, due date and site.

It works in every table of items: Actions, Findings, Risk improvements, Claims, Policies, and the Questions table of Compliance boards.

Filters that find sub-tasks too

Filter by a person or a site, and the sub-tasks that match show up, even when their item doesn't. The item is then shown as a header with just its name, so you always know where a sub-task belongs, and the ones that don't match are summed up as “2 more hidden by filters”.

Key benefits

  • Follow the work without opening it — see which steps are done and who is on the rest, straight from the table.
  • Nothing assigned to you slips by — filter by your name and you see your sub-tasks too, with the item they belong to.
  • Exports that match the table — Excel and CSV exports list each sub-task right after its item, marked with “↳”.
