Storms, floods and heatwaves don't wait for the next site visit. The Insurance map now shows the official severe weather warnings in force at your sites, as national weather services issue them, updated every two minutes.

Which of your sites are under a warning

The Weather warnings panel on the map counts the warnings at your sites by level, or every warning in force when you switch it to Everywhere: yellow to be aware, orange to be prepared and red to take action. Open it for the list, most severe first, with your sites under each warning. Click a warning to zoom the map to it: the areas it covers are drawn in its colour, and your sites under a warning get a ring in that colour.

Read the warning as it was issued

Every warning shows when it ends, when and by whom it was issued, and a link to the publisher's own page for it. Open it to read the warning exactly as published, with what to do, in English where the publisher gives it.

From the official sources

  • MeteoAlarm: the national weather services of Europe.
  • U.S. National Weather Service: severe and extreme weather alerts.
  • Environment and Climate Change Canada: colour-coded weather warnings.
  • GDACS: tropical cyclones worldwide.

Switch the panel to Everywhere to see every warning in force, often more than 500, and pan the map to explore.

Ask your AI assistant

The warnings are open to the AI assistant you connect to 21RISK, such as Claude or Microsoft Copilot. Ask it "Are any of our sites under a weather warning right now?" and it answers from the same data as the map, within the access you grant it. See Connect AI assistants to 21RISK.

Key benefits

  • Prepare before the weather hits: see which sites are exposed while there is still time to act.
  • Trust what you see: every warning comes from its official publisher, with its credit and a link to the source.
  • One map for every region: Europe, the US, Canada and tropical cyclones in one place, next to your sites.

You find it under Insurance → Map. Weather warnings are shown for awareness: follow the instructions of your national weather service and local authorities. Read more in Weather warnings.
