Structured site addresses

The new generated address preview in the site form

We've upgraded how site addresses work in 21RISK — introducing structured, auto-generated addresses

Instead of relying on a single free-text address field, your site address is now automatically composed from the individual address fields you already know: street, number, city, postal code, region, and country.

How it works

When you fill in the address fields on a site, 21RISK automatically generates a formatted address and displays it in a live preview at the top of the location section. This generated address is what gets shown across the platform — in lists, exports, and reports.

The formatting is country-aware. For example, US addresses display the number before the street ("42 Main Street"), while European addresses display the street first ("Vesterbrogade 42").

Address Line 1

We've also added a new Address Line 1 field for additional location details like building names, suite numbers, floors, or c/o information. This line appears at the beginning of the generated address.

Visual feedback

The generated address preview highlights in yellow whenever it differs from the last saved value, so you always know when your changes will update the stored address.

Key benefits

  • Consistency — Every site gets a cleanly formatted address, no more inconsistent free-text entries
  • Country-aware formatting — Addresses follow local conventions automatically
  • Live preview — See exactly what the generated address will look like as you type
  • Extra detail — The new Address Line 1 field gives you room for building, floor, or suite information
  • Backwards compatible — Existing free-text addresses are preserved and shown as a legacy field

Bulk import support

The new address_line_1 column is also available in the bulk import Excel template. Generated addresses are computed automatically for every imported site.
