Automatic address lookup from coordinates

Automatic address resolution from GPS coordinates during bulk import

We've added automatic address lookup to our bulk import for sites. If you include latitude and longitude coordinates in your import, 21RISK will now resolve the full address for you — country, city, postal code, street, and more — automatically ✨

How it works

When you upload a spreadsheet with GPS coordinates, 21RISK detects them and performs a reverse geocode lookup in the background. The resolved address fields are then filled into your site data before the import completes.

This means you can go from a simple spreadsheet with just site names and coordinates to fully addressed sites — without typing a single address yourself.

Your data always takes priority

We know your data is important. That's why the automatic lookup will never overwrite address fields you've already filled in. If you provide a street name, country code, or any other address field yourself, your value stays.

The lookup only fills in fields you've left empty. For example:

  • You provide coordinates and a custom street name → your street name is kept, everything else is filled in automatically
  • You provide only coordinates → all address fields are resolved for you
  • You provide all address fields and coordinates → nothing is changed, your data is used as-is

Key benefits

  • Save time — No need to manually look up and enter addresses for hundreds of sites
  • Better data quality — Addresses are resolved from precise coordinates, reducing typos and inconsistencies
  • Full control — Your manually entered values are always respected
  • Works at scale — Whether you're importing 10 or 10,000 sites, the lookup runs automatically
