Period comparison: see what changed in your insured values 📈

Once the new values are in, the first question is always the same: what changed since last time, and why? Insurance → Analytics now has a Period comparison tab that answers it.

Changes in values, kept apart from exchange rates

Every Insurance period converts values at its own exchange rates, so a site nobody touched can still move in base currency. The page keeps the two apart. TIV movement shows the total change and how much exchange rates added or took off. Every other chart measures the change in the values themselves, at the previous period's exchange rates.

Where the change comes from

Sites by change groups every site: values increased, decreased, entered for the first time, or unchanged. Unchanged sites are split by whether their values were reviewed, so the ones nobody has looked at yet stand out. Pick a group to list its sites.
Largest movements and Change by value category show which sites and which categories moved most.
The Sites table lists every site with its TIV in both periods, the change in values, the exchange rate effect and the values review progress.

One value at a time

Every value category gets a tile with its change. Pick Buildings or Business Interruption to see its total in both periods, how many sites went up or down, and the sites that changed it most.

What exchange rates did

Currency effect and Values by currency split TIV by the currency values were entered in: how many sites use it, how far its rate moved since the previous period, and how much TIV that moved.
