Statuses used to appear in the order they were created, and there was no way to change that. From today, every board owner can arrange the statuses of a board to match the way the team actually works.
How it works
Open Settings → Status on a board and use the arrows in front of a status to move it up or down. The change is saved immediately and applies to everyone who uses the board.
- The settings list shows the statuses in the board order.
- The status picker on a risk improvement, finding, or compliance item lists them in the same order, so the usual next step is always where you expect it.
- New statuses join the end of the list, so adding one never scrambles the order you set.
The arrows pause while the table is sorted by name or by open/closed. Clear the sorting and they are back.
Key benefits
- A workflow that reads top to bottom — put To do first and Completed last, or whatever sequence your process follows.
- Fewer wrong clicks — the picker mirrors the settings, so the status you reach for sits where you left it.
- Per board — the same status can sit in different places on different boards.
