A Compliance 2.0 answer that must be verified every 12 months, showing when it was verified and when it expires, with the verification in its history

Many requirements are not a one-off. First aid training has to be refreshed, kits restocked and eyewash stations tested, again and again. Compliance questions can now say how often that has to happen, and 21RISK keeps track of it for every site.

Set how often an answer must be verified

In the question editor, set Must be verified every to a number of days, weeks, months or years. Each site's answer then shows when it was last verified and when it expires.

Verify that an answer is still valid

When a site moves an answer to a closed status, such as Compliant, it counts as verified that day. When nothing has changed but the check has been done again, the site clicks Verify to restart the clock. They can add a comment or new evidence in the same step.

Expired answers move on by themselves

Once an answer's verification is older than the interval, 21RISK moves it out of its closed status, so your compliance numbers show it straight away. It moves to the status you choose under Expired answers in the board settings, such as "Verification due", or to the board's default status. The change shows up in the answer's history as an automation, marked Verification expired, and notifications and automations run as for any other status change.

Key benefits

  • Compliance that stays true: answers no longer count as compliant long after the last check.
  • Less chasing: every site can see when its next verification is due.
  • A clear audit trail: every verification and expiry is recorded in the answer's history.

Use the Verified and Expires columns in the Questions table to see what is due soon, or to build a reminder automation.
