We've added push notifications to 21RISK β the newest way for your notification inbox to reach you. Until now, notifications arrived in the app and by email. From today, they can also pop up directly on your device as browser notifications β even when 21RISK is closed .
Head to Notifications β Settings in the sidebar and flip the new Push toggle. Your browser will ask for permission once β allow it, and you're done. Use the Send test button to check everything is working right away.
One thing to know: notifications are ultimately displayed by your device, so your operating system must allow them too (for example on macOS: System Settings β Notifications β your browser). If a test doesn't show up, the Not seeing notifications? guide right on the settings page walks you through the exact steps for your browser and operating system.
Push is enabled per browser , so you choose exactly where notifications reach you: your work laptop, your phone, or both. Turning it off in one browser doesn't affect the others.
Push follows the exact same rules as your inbox: your per-board watch levels , the items you follow, and the items you've muted. If it wouldn't appear in your inbox, it will never buzz your device. And every push deep-links straight to the item it's about β one click and you're there.
