Named responsibilities for your boards

We've introduced named responsibilities — a new way to define specific roles on any board and assign the right person to each one, per site.

Previously, you could assign a single responsible user per model column. Now you can create up to 10 named responsibilities on each board — like "Fire Safety Officer", "Local Contact", or "Insurance Coordinator" — and assign a dedicated user for every site.

How it works

  1. Navigate to your board's Settings → Responsibilities
  2. Create responsibilities with descriptive names and optional descriptions
  3. Use the assignments matrix to assign a user to each responsibility at each site

The matrix gives you a full overview — rows are your sites, columns are your responsibilities — so you can spot gaps at a glance and make sure every role is covered.

Key benefits

  • Descriptive role names — Replace generic labels with names your team instantly recognizes, like "Environmental Lead" or "Site HSE Contact"
  • Matrix overview — See all assignments across all sites in a single view. No more clicking through sites one by one
  • Works on every board — Compliance boards, the insurance board — responsibilities are available everywhere
  • Up to 10 per board — Enough to cover all the roles that matter, while keeping things manageable
